So I did that 10 drabble meme and then never wrote any drabbles, so I'm putting this here to remind myself. I still haven't decided whether I will try to write drabbles, as I cannot seem to do so, so as a writing challenge for myself, or if they will turn into full blown stories.  My guess is that it will depend on the plot bunny that grabs me for each one.

Finally typed up the next chapter of "Exitus Acta Probat"...considering I had it WRITTEN since August, that is quite sad. Eh, whatev. Expect a posted update on it soon, and expect me to send you three billion things to beta, pinktribechick! (And then weep.)

Also, I am getting a car this week! Finally! I am only 24! Unless for some reason the dealer won't sell me one! Cross your fingers for me! I will stop using exclamation points!

I believe I shall post the fanfic updates in an unlocked format (can I even do that? I think I can...)  so anyone stumbling upon my lj who reads my fanfic can find THRILLING, yes THRILLING information on my writing.   Also, this way I feel I regain a bit of power....although I am now so paranoid I am kind of freaked out by posting anything unlocked.  Dammit.

Anyway, chapter 15 of Exitus Acta Probat is now up!  For the...five or so of you who care! (And yes, I should have been writing yet another paper instead of doing this!  Sue me!  Except not really!  I am poor!)

Chapter 15: Misconceptions

AUGH. AUGH AUGH AUGH. So, my writing friends, have you ever just.... LOST a section of your writing? Before you were able to type it up?  Because I dusted off a future chapter of Exitus Acta Probat and then I realized I had never finished typing up the last bit of that chapter...so I go to my folder of handwritten stuff and I see a page and a half...that starts out of nowhere and has no context, and I can't seem to remember what the hell I wrote at all, only that it was CRUCIAL TO MY PLOT.  And I forgot it.  And most likely threw it away when I was packing to move.  GAH.

That said, I will try to update EAP soon, as the chapter that got mutilated is the one after the next one.

Or maybe I should work on one of my papers.  Like the one that is due tomorrow. Hmmm.

lv_hg_betrayalfic fest, and accordingly, it makes fun of everything and everyone, and has some characterizations that I don't like unless they are in a parody fic. In other words, my feelings on most of these characters is pretty much NOT on display in this fic at all.  If it seems like I am targeting your fic for mockery, trust me, I'm not.  Besides, I mock my own stories quite a bit.  It's all in good fun, not meant to be mean spirited at all!

After I reread certain parts of this fic, I realized I had inadvertantly ripped off some gags from other humor fics I had read, so I will acknowledge them here, and tell you to go read them, as they are much, much funnier than this fic. Vega's "How Angel Saved the World Without Really Realizing It", Rainhawke's "Harry Potter and the Year of Living Stupidly," and SeverelySnaped's "Not Another Order of the Phoenix!"
